EMPLOYEE DISCIPLINARY APPEAL

Appeal Policy: An appeal may be filed by any employee receiving a disciplinary action (written warning, final written warning) that the employee believes was applied based on inaccurate or erroneous information. 

Definition of Appeal: A written statement filed by an employee seeking review of a disciplinary action, i.e. written warning, final written warning, that the employee believes to be inaccurate due to erroneous facts and/or misapplication of an Agency Policy or Procedure.

Note: The appeal must be submitted no later than seven (7) calendar days of the action which serves as the basis of the appeal. See the ACTS Personnel Policies for additional specific guidelines for appeal.
