The program is designed to provide treatment and supportive services for substance abuse and co-occurring related disorders to help individuals and their families through the recovery process. Components of outpatient treatment include aftercare, which is offered to all before discharge from other treatment programs in order to continue recovery gains and prevent relapse, and recovery support services, which includes individual and group counseling and linkage to community resources. This program is particularly good for persons who are in the early stages of substance misuse, and those who have had good recovery but relapsed.
